The Fort lacks creativity and colour. More time should be spent on the planning stages.

Many different colors were used. A few of the 3-D objects used in the diorama reflect student creativity in the creation and/or display.

Multiple & appropriate colors used. Several of the 3-D objects used in the diorama reflect exceptional student creativity in the creation and/or display.

Explanations are weak. Difficulty understanding how to relate items to the scene. The group was unable to give much information about the Fort.
DEVELOPING
Explanation of how items in the diorama are related to the scene was provided. Gives some information about the setting and the layout of the Fort.
PROFICIENT
Explanation of how most items in the diorama are related to the scene is reasonable. Able to share much detail of the setting that served to be advantageous to all traders and habitants.
EXTENDING
Thoroughly explains how items in the diorama are related to the scene. Communicates the setting, and how each building served an important part to the traders' way of life.
