Diorama 
Groups will build a fur trading post in BC that includes many, if not all of the components that go into designing a fort for traders. Each group must present their finished product to the class.

The Fort lacks creativity and colour. More time should be spent on the planning stages.

Explanations are weak. Difficulty understanding how to relate items to the scene. The group was unable to give much information about the Fort.

Explanation of how items in the diorama are related to the scene was provided. Gives some information about the setting and the layout of the Fort.
PROFICIENT

Explanation of how most items in the diorama are related to the scene is reasonable. Able to share much detail of the setting that served to be advantageous to all traders and habitants.

Thoroughly explains how items in the diorama are related to the scene. Communicates the setting, and how each building served an important part to the traders' way of life.
