Reading response is written with the proper form and use of above grade level vocabulary and sentence structure. A consistent use of grade appropriate punctuation and capitalization is demonstrated.

Reading response is written with grade appropriate sentence structure and vocabulary. Grade appropriate puctuation and capitalization is usually demonstrated.
Level 2

Sentence structure and vocabulary is continuing to develop. Some use of grade appropriate puctuation and capitalization is demonstrated.
