Below Standards Student did not make or complete the illustrated cover, or it is not neat and only contains one element.
Content	Exceeds Standards The report is factual and well researched. It is focused on the chosen fact and how it influenced history.	Meets Standards The report is well researched. Some facts or examples needed more detail.	Approaching Standards The report may not be clearly focused on the fact and how it influenced history.	Below Standards The report does not have a clear focus and show little research with no mention of the fact or its influence on history.
Presentation	Exceeds Standards Student maintained eye contact during presentation, spoke clearly, and seemed very knowledgeable of their subject.	Meets Standards Student seemed very knowledgeable but had to look up some information every now and then.	Approaching Standards Student had to refer to notes during presentation or spoke too softly or not very clearly.	Below Standards Student does not seem to know what is going on or may have made up facts.
