Spanish 1. Writing: Create a Short and Illustrated Story

Upon completion of in-class practice of storytelling that contain some new structures and vocabulary, the learner will be able to effectively write and make up a story through descriptive details using the vocabulary and grammar provided.

Several vivid/descriptive words are used to tell when and where the story took place.	Proficiency Level 3-5 pages. The main characters are named and described. Some vivid, descriptive words are used to tell the audience when and where the story took place.	Introductory Level Less than 3 pages. It is hard to tell who the main characters are. Setting description is not clear.
Grammar and Vocabulary 20 % Present Tense verbs and Stem changing verbs conjugation	Mastery Level All 20 grammar elements are present 10 Stem changing verbs and 10 regular present verbs conjugation.
