Student follows RAFT by properly identifying the role, audience, and topic. The RAFT partially develops the topic using the story.

Student follows RAFT by designing a piece(s) that make(s) evident the role, audience, and topic. The RAFT develops the topic using the story.
Organization

Approaching Proficient

The format is not developed and the content is insufficient to meet content goals.
Proficient

The format choice is not clear and/or not developed. Content is not well organized.
Approachng Master

The format choice for the RAFT is apparent, but the proper form is not fully developed. Content is logically ordered.
Master

RAFT demonstrates appropriate organization as applied to the selected format. Content is organized in logical order.
Mechanics

Approaching Proficient

The RAFT is riddled with errors which make reading and comprehending the report difficult.
