Pre-production	Good 4-5 Student treatment explained the project in detail. Storyboards were clear and interesting with many varied shots (wide, mediium, close up and extreme close up) and included extensive dialogue and music suggestions. Well written scripts were copied for each character with spoken lines.	Fair 2-3 Student treatment explained the project. Storyboards adequately covered the content of the program with varied shots (wide, mediium, close up and extreme close up) and included sufficient dialogue and music suggestions. Scripts were written and copied for each actor.	Poor 0-1 Student did not hand in a treatment or the treatment was poorly developed and very short. Storyboards left out shots/scenes and did not include sufficient dialogue or music suggestions. Scripts were not written for characters with dialogue.
Production	Good 4-5 Filming done with adherence to treatment and storyboards. Changes made enhanced the program. Students reshot scenes that were technically or artistically inferior. Camera work included too many pans and zooms.
Flow	Good 4-5 Movie had easily identified theme, had all required elements, and showed creativity and originality. Clips flowed in an engaging, thoughtful way and grabbed the audience's attention. The artisitic and technical levels combined to make an exceptional program.	Fair 2-3 Movie contained necessary components to tell a story and clips were connected with thought to advance the theme.	Poor 0-1 Movie did not show evidence of theme, had little editing, and did not engage the audience.
