Student used the days leading up to the trial to prepare for their role extremely well. They researched and reviewed all protocols to fulfill their court duties. They were beyond ready for trial.

Student used the days leading up to the trial to prepare for their role adequately. They seem to be reading and looking into what they needed to know before trial.
Average

Student did not use the days leading up to the trial well to prepare for their role adequately. They rarely had work in front of them and were often distracted. They were barely ready for the trial.
Poor

Student did not use any class time to prepare for the trial. They did not do the prep work necessary to complete their role in the trial.

Student was attentive during the trial and actively participated. They knew what to do and did not have to be redirected.

Student was mostly attentive during the trial and participated. They were sometimes confused by what was next but were able to recover quickly.

Student was some what attentive during the trial and sometimes participated. They were confused most of the time and had to be redirected.
Poor

Student was not attentive during the trial and did not participate. They had no idea what was happening through the course of the trial.
