This rubric is meant to help guide in the creation of your poster board & presentation project. Each category in the far left column represents a component of the project that will be taken into consideration when calculating the final grade for this assignment. Review the rubric carefully before, during and after the creation of the poster board presentation, to ensure that all intended elements of your poster have been represented and all other criteria have been met.

Title	Excellent Title can be read from 6ft. away and is quite creative.	Good Title can be read from 6ft. away and describes content well.	Fair Title can be read from 4ft. away and describes content well.	Poor The title is too small and/or does not describe the content of the poster well.
Presentation/Graphics	Excellent Poster board is attractive. Text is easy to read. Graphics and effects are used throughout to enhance presentation.	Good Poster board is attractive. Text is easy to read. More than half of the board uses graphics and effects to enhance presentation.	Fair Poster board is easy to read. Amount of text is too great for the amount of space provided. Less than half the poster has graphics or effects.	Poor The poster board is not easy to read. The amount of text is too great for the space provided. There is little use of graphics or effects.
Nodes	Excellent All Nodes are on the poster board and properly labeled.	Good Mostly all nodes are present on poster board and is labeled properly.	Fair Half of the nodes are presented on the poster board and properly labeled.	Poor Few or no nodes presented on the poster board.
Content	Excellent All parts of your board are included with correct information. Topic is discussed clearly and in an organized manner.	Good All parts of your board are included with relevant information. Topic is somewhat discussed but more information is required.	Fair Missing some relevant information. Topic is slightly discussed but more material is needed.	Poor Many aspects of the board do not contain relevant information. Topic is addressed but not discussed or elaborated on.
Use of Class Time	Excellent Used time well during the class period. Focused on getting the product done. Never distracted others.	Good Used time well during the class period. Usually focused on getting the project done and never distracted others.	Fair Used some of the class time well during the class period. There was some focus on getting the project done but occasionally distracted others.	Poor Did not use class time to focus on project OR distracted others. Reminders were given.
