Sentence Structure	Expections Does every sentence end with either a period, question mark or exclamation point?	Good Every sentence ends with either a period, question mark or exclamation point.	Fair Not more than 1 sentence does not end with a period, question mark or exclamation point.	Poor 2 or more sentences do not end with a period, question mark or exclamation point.
Spelling	Expections Are all words spelled correctly?	Good All words are spelled correctly.	Fair No more than 2 words are spelled incorrectly.	Poor 3 or more words are spelled incorrectly.
Descriptions	Expections Does every sentence provide a good description of the character?.	Good Every sentence uses more than one descriptive word.	Fair Every sentence uses at least one descriptive word.	Poor One or more sentences does not use a descriptive word.
Detail	Expections Did the author provide enough descriptive detail that the character could have been accurately reproduced?
