Main Character	1 Student does not identify the main character .	2 Student incorrectly identifies the main character but can identify one other character.	3 Student can identify the main character by name.
Setting	1 Student does not identify where the story takes place.	2 Student incorrectly identifies when/where the story takes place.	3 Student can identify when/where the story takes place.
