Talk Show Interview of Famous Historic Psychologist

You are interviewing a famous psychologist. Along with your partner, you will act as an interiewer and a famous figure. One will answer questions in the persona of the chosen individual as the other interviews them. Your questions and answers must show knowledge of your historical figure, their contribution and knowledge of the time and circumstance in which he/she lived.

Quality of research Demonstrate understanding of the person's contributions.	Poor Participants do not know much about the historical figure.	Fair Participants have a general knowledge of who the historical figure is.	Good Participants show they understand the contributions of the historical figure.	Excellent/Superior Participants add to the audience's understanding of the figure. Interview explains more about the figure than discussed in class or from reading the book.
Quality of questions and answers. Explain what the person contributed and how it had an effect on future advancements.	Poor Questions/Answers are not well thought out and there is little evidence that much effort was put into the project.	Fair Questions/Answers are not as well thought out at times. Material taught is not consistently used.	Good Questions/Answers are well thought out and there is evidence that you have applied material learned.	Excellent/Superior Questions/Answers are well thought out and there is evidence that you have applied all the material learned and made further research on your own. Questions offer opportunity to give interesting answers.
Number of questions Interviewer must ask at least 10 questions and all questions must be answered.	Poor Only 3 questions are asked and answered.	Fair 7 questions are asked and answered.	Good 10 questions are asked and answered.	Excellent/Superior More than 12 questions are asked and answered.
Presentation Student personifies the person.	Poor Presentation is difficult to understand. Participants are silly or uncooperative. Interview is over or or under 3 minutes. Interview is close to 3 minutes without going over.	Excellent/Superior Interview is interesting and entertaining without taking away from the purpose. Interview lasts 3 minutes.
APA Reference Page 2 pts. per reference (10 total) and 2 pts. per reference for APA format accuracy.	Poor 2 or less references are cited and APA formatted. If missing reference page, 0 pts. assigned for the entire research portion of the grade.	Fair 3 references are cited and APA formatted.	Good 4 references are cited and APA formatted.	Excellent/Superior All 5 references are cited and in APA format.
