Word Work Comic Strip

Here are some criteria and suggestions for the comic strip: Think of a story line before you do anything else. Planning is important. Write a title for your comic strip. Have a main character. Make at least five pictures or scenes. Include your vocabulary words. Include at least 5. Make sure that your pictures and actions make sense with your chosen vocabulary words.

Well developed story line	Practicioner It is evident that adequate time was not spent on the comic strip's creation. Comic strip is colored, but lacks neatness or is not completely colored. Overall appearance is average. The comic strip has unique, well drawn or created characters but little humor or drama in the wording. Cartoon generates little interest in the subject. Well developed story line	Beginner It is evident that little time was spent on the comic strip's creation. Comic strip displays no color. Overall appearance is poor. The comic strip does not have unique, well drawn or created characters. Little to no humor or drama in the wording Story line is not well developed Cartoon does not generate interest in the subject.
Vocabulary Words	Expert The comic strip contains at least 95% of required vocabulary words and are used correctly in the comic dialogue. The vocabulary words are used correctly according to the definitions.	Practicioner The comic strip contains between 80%of required vocabulary words and are used correctly in the comic dialogue.
