This paragraph introduces and leads into the essay's purpose. It also includes a thorough thesis statement. The thesis should be ONE sentence, which includes essay purpose and three points that prove the purpose.

This should include the thesis statement's first main point, which must be tied to the essay purpose. A thorough explanation of the event must be given with citations from the text. The paragraph must identify with how the event fits the hero pattern and how it shows growth as a hero for Bilbo. The writer must be specific.
