Only 3 details given from each text. Explain and analyze most details well.	Level 2 The essay slightly compares and/or contrasts, using only two details from each case. Or the essay only compares or only contrasts. Or includes details but little explanation given or analysis is not clear.	Level 1 The essay slightly compares and/or contrasts but includes only one detail for each text that support the comparison and/or contrast of the essay. No explanation given.	Level 0 Essay does not fit the assignment.
Sentences and Paragraphs	Level 4 Essay breaks the information with the introduction, similarities, differences, and conclusion structured into paragraphs.
