Illustration	Poor Picture is not relevant to the definition.	Fair Picture is somewhat relevant to the sentence or definition. Little attention to detail is demonstrated.	Good Picture is highly relevant to the examples and given definition of the vocabulary word. Details are included.
Definition in own words	Poor The definition shows little understanding of the true meaning of the word.	Fair The definition shows some progress to the true meaning of the word.	Good The definition shows real progress and understanding of the true meaning of the word.
Examples	Poor Examples and non-examples are not shown on the card for the definition.	Fair One example and non-example of the vocabulary word are given, but does not demonstrate effort or understanding of the meaning of the word.
