development with a topic sentence, specific and relevant details and examples from both songs/poems. Accurately develops author's theme/meaning, author's tone, and author's use of sensory imagery.
Sufficient

Has focused but occasionally uneven development; incorporates a topic sentence with some specific detail from both texts. Develops, although it may not have specific details or details from both texts.
Unsatisfactory

Demonstrates little or no development; usually lacks details or examples or presents irrelevant information. May only address 1 or none of the given topics. No topic sentence.
