English Speaking Criteria
	Below average 2 pts	Fair 3 pts	Good 4 pts	Very good 5 pts
Comprehension	Below average The student showed little comprehension of questions. Questions had to be repeated.	Fair The student showed some comprehension of questions, with some questions needing to be repeated.	Good The student understood most of what was asked of him/her.	Very good The student fully understood the questions asked.
Clarity	Below average Questions and answers were awkward and incomprehensible to understand at times.	Fair Questions and answers were awkward at times but mostly understandable.	Good Questions and answers were usually clear and comprehensible.	Very good Questions and answers were consistently clear and comprehensible.
Fluency	Below average Student took a long time to ask and respond to questions.	Fair Student was able to ask and respond to questions, however there was some difficulty at times.	Good Student was able to ask and respond to questions clearly with minimal difficulty.	Very good Student was consistently able to ask and respond to questions with no difficulty.
Content	Below average Answered with some inappropriate information or answered questions with very limited answers.	Fair Answered some questions with appropriate information but responses were limited in content.	Good Usually answered questions with appropriate information and responses had good content.	Very good Consistently answered with correct information and included very good content in response to questions.
