Promoting Traveling on the Oregon Trail Advertisement 
The students will write an advertisement promoting westward expansion. For the assignment the students will include the Land Claim Act, Manifest Destiny, and other various reasons for traveling west. This will ensure that all students have an understanding of the Land Claim Act, Manifest Destiny and the various reasons that people chose to move westward. They will also incorporate as much unit vocabulary as possible
