The student's work demonstrates originality. The student has created several sketches in an effort to work though problem-solving in their sketchbook. Their final drawing is neatly colored, and with symbols carefully planned. The student connects the drawings to their culture.
Level 5

The student's work demonstrates originality and shows evidence of planning and problem-solving through complex thumbnails that show the process of thought. Their final drawing is neatly colored, and sizes, numbers and placement of symbols are carefully planned. The entire piece revolves around the student's culture.

The student completed the project in an above average manner, yet more could have been done. The project seems a bit rushed and the painting could be neater in application.
Level 5

The student gave an effort far beyond the requirements of the project. The project has extreme areas of detail and the painting is neatly applied with areas of blending and multiple layers of color.
