Social Conflict Resolution Social Conflict Resolution Think about the necessary steps involved to help relove a conflict between two people, or problem-solve a situation that can aggitate and become uncomfortable. Anticipation of Conflict	Excellent Student recognizes a conflict that will negatively affect his/her behavior and begins to use positive strategies.	Good Student recognizes a conflict that will negatively affect his/her behavior, but does not immediately begin to use positive strategies.	Poor Student recognizes a conflict that will negatively affect his/her behavior and begins to display negative, escalating behaviors in response to the conflict.
Problem-Solving Conflict	Excellent Student implements at least 1 suggested positive strategy in immediate response to the conflict.	Good Student needs prompting from a teacher/adult to implement 1 of the suggested positive strategies in response to the conflict.	Poor Student needs continual prompting from a teacher/adult to implement any suggested positive strategies in response to the conflict.
Resolution	Excellent Student is able to continue with the present activity immediately following the ending of the conflict.	Good Student is able to continue with the present activity after 2 minutes of de-escalation the ending of the conflict.	Poor Student is NOT able to continue with the present activity immediately following the ending of the conflict and requires removal from the environment for de-escalation.
