Project; choose a natural disaster and prepare a presentation with a powerpoint in which you explain what it is, how it occurs, prevention, prediction,include three famous ones with pictures and add a graph preferably a climograph from excell created by you.

Students will research their favorite author and read a book from the author. Research will be gathered on an organizer along with notes from the book. Students will write a report from the notes and then incorporate into a Power Point presentation.

Choose a Earthquake, Volcano or Tsunami that has caused considerable damage to a civilisation in the past or more recently. A list has been provided for you but disasters not on the list can be chosen.
