Write a five paragraph argumentative (including comparisions and contrasts) essay utilizing five paragraph essay structure.Midterm Essay should consist of 5 paragraphs that compare or contrast the Strengths and Weaknesses that were assigned to you based on the results of The Color code Test or The Strengths test.

This RT rubric has been adapted to accommodate a virtual-learning-environment.

Students will develop an advertising campaign, for a product or service to appear in a technology-driven advertising campaign.

Students will create an advertising poster that contains all relevant information. Students will provide a creative and colorful poster designed on the computer to be printed and displayed on posterboard. The poster should address the following questions: - What is the name of the program and what is it about? - When? - Who is this for? - Why is it happening? - What are the benefits? - How can a student enter?

Students will create a 6 frame storyboard depicting their assigned portion of the novel. Each group will then present his/her project to the class in an oral presentation.

Create a magazine cover that looks like a real magazine. Choose the title of the publication. Then, be sure you include a title, photos, headline articles, dateline and follow a monthly theme. Be creative and make the finished product look as professional as possible. Be aware of the marketability and audience appeal of your magazine. Create a poetry book that will include six original poems: 1 Cinquain, 1 Concrete, 1 Diamonte, 1 Limerick, 1 Haiku, and 1 Acrostic. At least one poem will be presented orally. Your poetry book must also include a glossary of the six terms and an introductory letter explaining why you picked your theme for each poem and how it relates to your book. Students will also include an illustration that best represents the overall poetry book’s theme for the front cover.

Research an approved topic. Submit one 2-3 page typed paper, double spaced, 12 point font following MLA guidelines. Include a Works Cited page with at least 3 resources used researching the paper. You are encouraged to interject your personal opinion into this paper. Paper will be graded on quality of research to support the topic, effective use of information gained through research, credibility of sources, content, grammar and mechanics, and MLA formatting.

You must create three print advertisements for an existing product. It must have all of the elements as described on the assignment sheet. Be sure that your ad has the following 4 elements of a print advertisement which include the following: a. Headline, b. Illustration, c. Copy, d. Slogan.

Students will memorize a Romeo and Juliet monologue and present it to the class

The presenter(s) will put together an electronic presentation to show during the oral presentation. The group's oral presentation must be aligned with the electronic presentation.

The student will be given something to memorize and record or something to recite to the teacher individually. They will be graded on flow, pronunciation, and preparedness.

This is the rubric that will be used to grade your poster unless you are told otherwise.
