Choral Singing Rubric

Assessment of singular actor's performance from either a monologue or dramatic scene.

Students were responsible to research an era of theatre history and then teach the rest of the class in presentation format.

Drama students will present a monologue as a semester I assessment.

Rubric used the students daily shop/class participation

This rubric will be used to grade your project for Music Appreciation.

Assessment of student playing a scene with one or two other students.

Beginning of year vocal placement exercise.

Each week, students will be evaluated on their Professionalism, Preparation, Work Ethic, and Technique. The Performance Practice column will only apply to lessons which involve active "Performance" of the piece(s), not merely a "Work Through" of the piece(s). Therefore, days in which a student is prepared to perform in their lesson, they will earn additional points for doing so. This acts as an incentive for preparation.
