In the PSA students are to raise awareness for the issue by briefly describing the issue, providing relevant and accurate facts, and encouraging viewers to take positive action concerning the issue and finally provide resources for the audience.

Global Travel Project
The student will pretend that he/she is going to visit a minimum of 3 countries for 2-5 days and will make round trip travel arrangements to and from their chosen countries. To be prepared for the trip, the student will use technology to conduct internet research. After the student has gathered all of the research, they will synthesize the information and write a travel diary about their country and then present a brief 10-15 minute presentation to their classmates to go with their research.

International Travel Project
The purpose of this unit is to facilitate student learning about the world in which we live. Students will receive a 'International Travel Packet' packet to complete. The student will pretend that he/she is going to visit a minimum of 3 countries for 2-5 days and will make round trip travel arrangements to and from their chosen countries. Artistic Persepctive of Global Issues
Students were to choose an art medium of their choice (song, poem, visual art, etc.) addressing a global issue of interest to them. Write a one page analysis including: interpret the medium - what is the purpose? how does the medium convey the message? how successful is this medium in achieving its goals? Creator of the medium: Who created it? What perspective does it convey? Why did the author present this perspective? Personal reflection: Why did you choose this piece? Did the analysis change your perspective?
