This rubric evaluates different categories according to sing a song in groups

Students will use their own personal symbolism to create yarn paintings on cardstock.

Inspired by Huichol yarn paintings, students will choose an animal, use a variety of colors and patterns to create yarn paintings on cardboard.

Using an online comic strip generator or drawing by hand, each student will create a comic strip to show understanding of a grammatical concept using the appropriate powerful verbs in the comic strip dialog. Student will create and present a family tree using pictures of their family on a poster board. This rubric is for the oral presentation of the poster, family/ pictures need to be described with information provided in the rubric-in Spanish of course. It will be a question/answer in Spanish.

Create a menu. You must give your restaurant a name and create the menu. The menu should include at least 5 complete choices for each of the sections of the menu: appetizer, set menu,side menu, desserts and drinks. The menu should be visually pleasing with easily identifiable headings, prices, and pictures.

1. Students will work in groups to recreate the mi plato on a piece of chart paper. 2. Color Mi plato to resemble the colors on Mi plato. 3. Label each food group in Spanish and cut or draw foods (at least two foods per group) that represents Mi plato food groups.

Students will incorporate information about a situation or "monster" they have created that they struggled to control into a visual representation following the specified criteria.

Students will create a comic strip using words/phrases that they have learned in Spanish Class

Students will be responsible for creating a collage in a fun, organized and attractive way. In this collage, a total of ten sentences incorporating the use of an irregular yo form verb; would be required to fulfill all criteria for this project.

Rubric for a written script and an oral presentation for a 9th grade Spanish Level 1 class ordering food in a Spanish restaurant

The project has four parts: written, recipes, a visual aspect and an oral summary of the country chosen. Choose a Spanish speaking country and write a two page report. Include at least three topics related to country: politics, history, famous people/events, etc. Choose three recipes that represent the country; two main courses and one dessert. Create a visual display, supporting the oral presentation. Each student will present a short oral summary about their country.

Students will write a free verse poem using prepositional phrases. The poem will be neatly written in correct format.processor.

PLO 7. Demonstrate articulate oral and written skills necessary for the effective presentation.

For vocabulary or spelling, use with fill in the blanks (reading and writing) and or sentence construction.
