Students and teacher will evaluate their pottery piece based on their experience on the wheel and the outcome of their completed pot.

Using a digital photo of your self, grid the photo in a one inch grid. Then create a two inch grid on your illustration board to transfer your drawing to. After transferring your drawing using the grid, use two different mediums and color/shade your drawing. You will be graded on if you incorporate your own personal artistic style, use composition and design, craftsmanship, and effort.

4 points for each area for a total of 28 points for the project grade.

High School Pottery 2 Ceramics Grading Rubric

Students will create a sculpture or functional clay ware based on Artist they have researched and chosen.

FUNDRAISER PROJECT: BE HONEST WITH YOUR WORK AND ASSESSMENT!

Students will create a sculpture using wire and considering proportion of a shoe, bag or leather item.

Students are to construct a Greek Amphora type vessel 5 inches MAX in height x 4" WIDE out of coils. with foot and handles, sliup, underglaze and sgrafitto.

As part of a unit on the elements of art, students will examine Vincent Van Gogh's paintings for use of line. In particular, students will examine Van Gogh's various sunflower paintings. Students will create their own still life sunflower paintings with oil pastel demonstrating their knowledge of line.

This rubric evaluates skill in drawing still life sneakers, adding color with paints and attention to VALUES, task, craftsmanship.

Create an abstract form based on a biomorphic shape and line as found in one of Miro's paintings. Utilize wire, newspaper and paper mache mix to create form.
