Produce a promotional poster for a fictional media company. Students must show evidence of different design principles, concepts, trends, and color theory. Students must show evidence that learning the Photoshop Software has taken place. Students will be scored based on the attached rubric. The rubric and assignment was developed from information taken from the concepts of Visual Design, ISTE Standards, and Adobe Certified Associate Domains.

Students will follow directions to trace and print a portrait from a photograph. A calligram , a drawing with words, will be created using names, adjectives, and quotes etc... associated with the subject.

This rubric can be used in evaluating all types of art including: ceramics, drawing, painting, collage, & digital art.

Students will be asked to identify all the elements of art and principles of design and/or demonstrate examples. In this assessment students will work on demonstrating the Elements of Art and the Principles of Design.

Students create a digital portfolio of all their work from the course. Students are responsible for keeping this portfolio up to date throughout the course. This portfolio will count as their final project grade.

Using Adobe Photoshop Tools

Students will be able edit a 2 to 3 minute video with including key frames, fades, cuts, transitions effects, titles, music. Student will be able to save the finished video in the proper format and folder with the Adobe Premiere Pro Editable files.

This is the rubric for your final assignment in my class.

In a variety of settings student will remain on task and complete work with minimal prompting from adults with 80 5 accuracy.
