Each nine weeks you will complete one current events article covering something that is currently happening in the world of science. You may talk about any article in any science related field; however, I will give you 5 extra credit points if you cover a topic related to what chapter is being covered at the time of your article.

Research the approved topic and question. Submit Arial or Times New Roman font 12-14 size Include a bibliography citing resources used researching the paper, and either a title page or title at the top of the first page of your paper. Paper will be graded on quality of research to support the topic, effective use of information gained through research, credibility of sources, content, grammar and mechanics, and bibliography.

Students will create, in groups, a 12-frame storyboard depicting their assigned original narrative. With photos of the storyboards, the groups willl then present their project to the class in an oral presentation. Each student is expected to speak in the presentation.

Write a Personal Narrative Essay about an important,life-changing event from your life. Describe your memorable event in chronological order. Use the literary element flashback as an introduction technique. Include reactions in your personal narrative such as dialogue and emotions. Include a reflection in your essay on what you learned from this experience. Your personal narrative should be a five paragraph essay with an introduction, three body paragraphs, and a conclusion.

Students will research and write about the different kinds of starts and the life cycle of a star.

Students will imagine that they are the rulers of their own planets. They will determine what laws and rules his/her planet will have, how they will enforce these laws and rules, and how they are alike and different from the laws of their actual society.
