Diorama Rubric
Work with primary sources to make a diorama that shows what Kelowna would have looked like 100 years ago. You need a minimum of ONE structure, TWO different geographic features, and THREE different technologies. I would also encourage you to explore the diversity of Kelowna at the time (Ex. KUO MIN TANG building in Kelowna’s Chinatown). Bonus: Make OKAA’s original school.

Create a website that explores one of the following topics: Your website should include useful information, resources, links, videos/images, comment bar/forum with full class engagement- this could look like a Q and A where students ask questions about your topic and you must provide answers (2 questions from each student), organized appropriately/logically/critically to engage your audience and explore ethics and historical thinking, minimum of 2 primary sources and 3 secondary sources.

Look at what the Bible and Ellen White have to say about Education. See if you can get quotes from alumni about how OKAA has had a positive impact on their spiritual growth and commitment to Christianity.
