It is unclear what area of Canada the immigrant group settled or migrated into. There is no indication of resources, climate, and/or geographic features.

There is some indication of place and time, but not enough details to fully understand the physical geography.

There is enough detail to understand travel, climate, resources, and important geographic features.
Great
The student has clearly shown how geography impacted that immigrant group.
Excellent
The student has shown a detailed series of events from migration to immigration and all of the main geographic elements that had an impact on the immigrant group. It is clear what the immigrant had to adapt to and how they approached community building within different geographic areas. There is also evidence of their exploitation of various resources for both survival and livelihood.
