Create Your Own Dance
Students are required to create their own dances, in groups of three to five students. Dance routines are required to be two minute in duration. Dance moves learned in class, i.e. line dances (the base), hip-hop, and modern dance, are encouraged to be incorporated in your dance routines.

Rubric for testing Physical Education students (grades 6-12) in different areas of fitness.

Weightroom Expectations
Students will be given a weight room grade for every visits to the weight room. Total possible points are 25 points. If students is not there on a weight room day student still has to make up day missed. If it not possible to make up the actual weight lifting day, students may post in their log book that they were absent by marking so in the log book. Students with Doctor's notes will do the same by marking Doctor in the log book. Either of these situations do not mean you have credit for the day. You still must make up the work as assigned and turned in on time. It is your responsibility to make sure you get these assignments from the teacher. Students who do not dress out or have unexcused absences will receive no credit for this assignment.

Throwing A Football at a moving target
Students will be evaluated on throwing a football. The students will be in groups of two with one football per group. Each student will throw the football to their partner 5 times and be evaluated on the following. 1) Ball at cheek level in good body posture 2) Side facing target – the side opposite your throwing hand is facing the target 3) Step with opposite foot – Step with small jab step towards your target with your foot opposite your throwing hand 4) Eyes on the target – keep your eyes on the target at all times 5) Follow through – throwing arm should wipe the glass ending up by your hip pocket
