Satisfactory Story has a problem and solution, but the problem never reaches a climax. Or the story has a problem and a climax but does not resolve.	Very Good Story has a problem/conflict, a climax, and an acceptable resolution.	Excellent Story has at least one well-defined problem/conflict, a climax, and an engaging and agreeable resolution.
Setting Is setting believable based on characters and plot?	Needs More Work The setting is hardly mentioned.	Satisfactory The setting is minimally described and doesn't enhance the plot or create a believable basis for the characters.	Very Good The setting is adequately described but either does not create a basis for the characters or does not enhance the plot.	Excellent The setting is fully described, creates a believable basis for the story's characters, and enhances the plot.
