When I Was Little Students will read the book "When I Was Little" by Jamie Lee Curtis, then have a discussion about things they did when they were little but no longer do. Each student will draw a picture of something they did when they were little, then write a short story to go along with the picture. 	Poor 1 pts	Fair 3 pts	Good 5 pts
Grammar	Poor Many grammatical errors and misspelling of words.	Fair Few grammatical errors and misspelled words.	Good No more than one grammatical error or misspelled words.
Neatness	Poor Hard to read. Hard to see what is going on in the picture.	Fair Some words are hard to read. Picture is somewhat neat.	Good Very neat handwriting. The picture is very clear and easy to see.
Completion	Poor The story is incomplete. The picture is not finished being drawn or colored.	Fair The story is complete, but missing a few key parts. The portrait is finished being drawn but not all the way colored.	Good The story is complete and the picture is completely drawn and colored.
Picture	Poor The picture is not related to the story.	Fair The picture is somewhat related to the story.	Good The picture is clearly related to the story.
