Plant Cycles Plant Cycles TSW present their knowledge of plant cycles and parts through a group presentation including audio-visuals for the audience (Power Point, foldable board, games, puzzles, etc...). The lessons in class on plants include vocabulary terms, visual displays, and detailed descriptions on plant parts, the use of plants and plant parts, germination, photosynthesis, plant cycles and pollination. This assessment can be effective in many grades of school, but I have chosen 4th grade as the main recipient of this rubric. Plant Cycles

Content	Poor Less than 4 stages of the growth cycle are illustrated and labeled. 0-2 key vocabulary terms used.	Fair 4-5 stages of growth cycle are illustrated and labeled. 3-5 key vocabulary terms used.	Good 6 or more stages of the growth cycle are illustrated and labeled. 6 or more key vocabulary terms used.
Information	Poor Most or all Information given was incorrect.	Fair Most Information provided was correct, but a few content mistakes	Good All Information given was correct.
Resources	Poor Used no resources	Fair All information came frome the same resource.	Good Used an array of resources.
Visual Display	Poor Words and images cannot be seen by students in the front of the class. Words and images are sloppy and without color.	Fair Words and images can be seen by students in the front part of the class. Words and images are fairly neat with and a little color was added.	Good Words and images can be seen by students in the back of the class. Words and images are neat and colorful.
Verbal Prestentation	Poor Student's voice was not clear and student did not maintain eye contact with class during the presentation. Student was not able to explain the content or answer questions about it.	Fair Student's voice was clear and student maintained eye contact with class during part of presentation. Student was able to explain the content, but not answer questions about it.	Good Student's voice was clear and student maintained eye contact with class during the whole presentation.
