Application	Excellent Uses language and/or images very effectively and creatively to communicate ideas about the book.	Good Uses language and/or images well to communicate ideas about the book effectuvely and with some creativity.	Fair Shows some difficulty using language and/or images to communicate ideas about the book.	Poor Is unable to use language and/or images effectively to communicate ideas.
Communication	Excellent Shows a high level of awareness of self as a reader, making their response very interesting to read.	Good Shows a good level of awareness of self as a reader, making their response interesting to read.	Fair Shows a adequate level of awareness of self as a reader, making their response somewhat interesting to read.	Poor Shows little awareness of self as a reader, making their response uninteresting to read.
