Who, When, Where	Poor All of the requirements are missing.	Fair Two of the requirements were not included.	Good One of the requirements for the event was left out.	Excellent Who was involved in the event; where the event took place; and when the event took place are all easily found on the comic
Plot of Event	Poor All of the requirements are missing.	Fair Two of the requirements were not included.	Good One of the requirements for the event was left out.	Excellent What happened during the event; what caused the event to happen (why); and what was the end result of the event, are all easily answered in the comic.
Pictures	Poor Pictures were incomplete, lacked color and had little to do with the event.	Fair Cartoon pictures were present but didn't follow the event in a way that helped the reader know what was going on.	Good Cartoons were present and neat. Pictures helped in the understanding of the event but were a little confusing.	Excellent Cartoon pictures were attractive and used to enhance the readers understanding of the event.
Bubbles, Dialogue	Poor Bubbles were not used or unclear or illegible.	Fair Characters spoke to each other in the bubble but was difficult to follow and understand.	Good The characters expressed themselves through dialogue in the bubbles but was somewhat unclear.	Excellent Characters were expressing themselves through dialogue that was easy to follow and understand. The event was clearly expressed in the bubbles.
Use of Time in Class	Poor Did not use class time to focus on project OR distracted others often. Reminders given daily.	Fair Easily distracted, focus on project some of the time but needed reminding.	Good Used class time well. Occasionally distracted others.	Excellent Students used time wisely in class. The project was the focus and distracting classmates wasn't!
