Illustrated and Colored	Poor Has a landform and/or body of water illustrated but is not colored.	Fair The landform and/or body of water was illustrated, and colored but not easily distinguished.	Good The landform and/or body of water is illustrated and colored with every characteristic easily distinguished.
Properly labeled	Poor The pictures are not labeled at all.	Fair Some pictures are not labeled.	Good All of the pictures are correctly labeled.
Correct Spelling	Poor The labels cannot be determined through incorrect spelling.	Fair The spelling is incorrect, but the label can still be determined.	Good Every label is spelled correctly.
Neatness	Poor All areas (drawing, coloring, and writing) were sloppily drawn.	Fair One area (drawing, color, or writing) was not done neatly.	Good All areas (drawing, coloring, and writing) were neatly drawn.
Use of Class Time	Poor Did not use class time to focus on the project OR often distracted others.	Fair Used some of the time well during each class period.
