Branches of Government Branches of Government The students will create an online or physical poster, a website a brochure or powerpoint, or 1 page report that will contain information that they collected regarding each of the 3 branches of government. Identified Branch of government	Exceeds Student identified each branch of government in a clear and precise way.	Good Student identified branches of government, and was somewhat clear in differentiating them.	Fair Student hinted at their branches of government but they were not clear.	Poor Student did not clearly identify branches of government.
Project Content	Exceeds Project includes all information relevant to the topic in an organized fashion.	Good Project includes all relevant information; however, it does not is not well-organized.	Fair Does not have all of the relevant information of the project. There is not enough information presented. It is presented in an unorganized fashion	Poor The project is lacking in elements required. There are many gaps in information presented.
Work quality/effort	Exceeds The work done exceeds all expectations and shows that the learner is proud of his/her work.	Good The work was done with good effort that shows what the learner is capable of. It is evident that time was put into this project.	Fair Work is done with fair effort, but the quality is still not what the learner is capable of. It is evident that the work was rushed.	Poor Work is done with little effort. It is evident that the work was rushed and little time was spent on the final product. Work is incomplete.
Style/Mechanics	Exceeds The project has an element of creativity and style, and is not just a list of facts. The project is presented in a clear and concise manner .	Good The project is clear and logical and contains facts as well as very few mistakes. Good clear presentation.	Fair The project lacks creativity. The project lacks neatness and clarity	Poor The project lacks a clear understanding of the subject matter and their are many errors. Project is not creative.
