Students design and produce wearable clothing from recycled, reused or repurposed items using the theme of culture or heritage. The final presentation will be a student write-up or media presentation describing their clothing, theme and their recyclables in a procedural text. Clothing must include: a hat, shoes, a top and a bottom (pants or skirt) or dress and an accessory item, such as belt, jewelry, gloves, leg warmers, glasses, etc. Items must be worn and removed by the wearer.
