Content	Poor Summary is bare and bland with many missing parts and no details.	Fair Missing parts or insufficient explanation of the problem, plot events and the resolution.	Good Includes problem, polt events and resolution with proper elaboration.
Grammar & Mechanics	Poor Student has many grammatical errors.	Fair Student has some mistakes in capitalization/punctuation/spelling and subject/verb agreement. Summary is confusing at times.	Good Student has no errors in capitalization/punctuation/spelling and subject/verb agreement. Summary is cohesive and easy to read.
Rough Draft & Editing	Poor Student provides no rough draft.	Fair Student is missing one part or failed to put enough effort towards editing their drafts.	Good Student provides a rough draft to show their work writing their summaries. The student has sufficient editing and shows their changes.
