Clever attention-getting introduction.
Subject Knowledge	Unsatisfactory Main ideas were not separated into logical progression. Student does not have grasp of information.	Progressing Main ideas separated into logical progression. Student is uncomfortable with delivering the information.	Proficient Main ideas separated into logical progression. Student is at ease with information but some elaboration is missing.	Advanced Student demonstrates full knowledge of subject and provides elaboration and explanations.
Support/References	Unsatisfactory Important ideas were not supported with references or data. Works cited page not submitted.	Progressing Works cited page submitted, student utilizes/cites less than 3 sources during presentation.	Proficient Important ideas and viewpoints supported by referenced facts. At least 3 sources were identified during presentation.	Advanced Important ideas and viewpoints were supported with accurate and detailed references to text or other works.
