Layout, Design and Organiation	Exemplary Content is organized with a layout that compliments the article. Design is appealing to the reader.	Partially Proficient Organization is minimal and article design is has some appeal to reader.	Incomplete Organization is not present and the layout does not compliment the article.
Appearance and Readability	Exemplary Newsletter is well organized and follows the Rule of Thirds and the CRAP principles. Topics are well developed and cohesive with article.	Partially Proficient Content has some organization and follows some CRAP rules. Topics are sometimes developed and cohesive with the article.	Incomplete Content lacks organization and does not flow or follow CRAP rules.
Formatting, Mechanics and spelling	Exemplary No grammatical or formatting errors.	Partially Proficient Some grammatical errors, fragments and some misspelled words.	Incomplete There were many grammatical errors.
