Genius Project 
For 30 minutes per class, students will complete some research into a topic of their choosing for 7 weeks. At the end of the Genius Project, the students will create a culminating presentation/product based on what they discovered through their independent research.

Summary

Student completes five (5) or less 1-3-2-1 paragraphs of summary and/or student provided ultimately unacceptable work about researched texts.
Mastery

Students completes at least six (6) 1-3-2-1 paragraphs f summary and/or student provided work where most analyses of researched texts were ultimately acceptable.
