Turkish Commercial Spanish Commercial Students will create a Turkish commercial using video. The video must include vocabulary & grammar from the year. Your commercial must be a story line production in which you are trying to convince someone to buy a specific product. Video should be min 2 minutes and with English subtitle. Group Presentation Rubric

Content	Exemplary The video contains verbs and vocabulary, commands that we learned and used this year.	Proficient The video does not contain many vocabulary learned or commands, Did include one of the required elements.	Unsatisfactory Does not show much advance planning. Did not include much vocab. and commands.
Preparedness Students have visual aids/props for the video	Exemplary Students show that they are exceptionally prepared and it is evident that they have rehearsed before the presentation. Showed that they used class time to practice.	Proficient Students seem to be pretty prepared but it is evident that more practice was needed. Showed that they used some class time to practice.	Unsatisfactory Overall, students seemed very unprepared to present their video..seemed rushed & many elements quite unclear. Showed that they did not use class time to practice.
Pronunciation	Exemplary Presentation was fluent and very few pronunciation errors were made.	Proficient Presentation had a few pronunciation errors. One or two times an utterance was incomprehensible, but it did not hinder the overall comprehension of the assignment.	Unsatisfactory Presentation did not flow well. Many pronunciation errors...affected comprehension of the assignment.
Duration	Exemplary Commercial was well over the minimal amount of time allotted, and allowed students to really explain their product.	Proficient Commercial barely made it to the minimal filming time.	Unsatisfactory Commercial was extremely short. No thought given to keeping to prescribed minimum time requirement.
Comprehensibility Persuasiveness. Commercial demonstrated a high level of creativity. It was exciting and interesting.	Exemplary Video is comprehensible and story line is easy to understand for a native speaker with some training with L2 accents	Proficient Video is comprehensible, but listener has to draw some conclusions because of mistakes.	Unsatisfactory Non comprehensible.
