Mock Trial Rubric--Witnesses 
This rubric will evaluate the preparation, performance, and comprehension of a student who is in the role of witness for our mock trial of Victor Frankenstein, to determine his culpability for the crimes committed by his creation.

Average

Student shows minimal understanding of text evidence; Student mumbled at times; spoke quietly some of the time; at times lacked confidence; did not answer all of the questions or was ineffective in answering a question; used notes often.
Poor

Student answers only in yes or no answers; was difficult to hear; student was not confident; student did not answer questions; used notes most of the time.
