The students will develop 3 nursing diagnosis. One of the nursing care plan can be related to psycho-social issues or patient education. Each Diagnosis with have all 3 parts, the NANDA nursing diagnosis, the related factor, and the evidence. The only exception is “risk for” nursing diagnosis which lack evidence.
They will give a short term goal that should be met by the end of their interaction with the client, and they will give a long term goal that can be met by discharge. All goals will be “SMART”.
The students will give interventions to meet each short term and long term goal.
The student will evaluate each nursing diagnosis as if the patient met the goal. The students would give evidence as to how the goal was met.
