Venn Diagram/Skit This book report had the students comparing themselves and the main character of the book using a Venn Diagram. Then they were required to write a skit telling a group of strangers about the main character and themself. Venn Diagram	Poor The Venn Diagram was not completed or completed with very little detials. They do not have a good grasp of their character.	Fair The Venn Diagram has some details but comparisons are few. Shows that they have a little understanding of their chosen character.	Good Most of Venn Diagram is completed and shows they understand their character.	Very Good The Venn Diagram has been completed with enough detail to show they have a good grasp of their character.
Skit	Poor Skit was poorly written. Hard to understand. Does not explain chosen character to strangers	Fair Skit is written with some detials but still hard to completely understand. Does not completely tells strangers about the chosen character.	Good Skit is easy to read and it tells strangers about the chosen character. Some parts are still a little hard to grasp but it does not take away from the entire paper.	Very Good Very well written. The chosen character was talked about so a group of strangers would be able to get to know him/her. Enough details were written.
Punctuation/Capitalization	Poor Punctuation and Capitalization was not used or used very little.	Fair Punctuation and Capitalization was used but in some areas forgotten.	Good Punctuation and Capitalization was used with some minor mistakes.	Very Good Punctuation and Capitlization was used throughout entire paper.
Penmanship	Poor Have a hard time reading child's work.	Fair Somewhat easier to read but still have trouble with some words/sentences.	Good Paper can be read without any problems.	Very Good Paper is very neat. No problems reading any portion of assignment.
