French Restaurant Skit 
In groups of 2-3, students will create a French restaurant skit. One student will be the server and the other(s) the client(s). One drink and a three-course meal must be ordered. There must also be a problem that arises. The bill must be mentioned. The verbs "vouloir", "manger", "boire", and "prendre" must be used, as well as "meilleur que", "en", and expressions such as "J'ai faim" and "J'ai soif".

The student speaks naturally and confidently due to his or her preparation and knowledge of vocabulary. The student self corrects when necessary.

The student does not convey the message of the skit due to grammatical inaccuracies.
The student's presence did not add to the advancement of the scene.

The student has grammatical inconsistencies that confuse the listener or others in the skit.
The student participated but did not attempt to add any personality to the scene.

The student has some grammar inconsistencies that do not inhibit overall comprehension.
The student acted the part well but did not add any humor, drama or personalization
Level 4

The student consistently uses the correct word choice. Grammar is accurate with very few mistakes.
The student acted the part well with drama or humor and tried to personalize the skit. The student was focused on the task and did his or her part to advance the scene.
