ESL Writing Test Rubric
1. The first part of your assignment is to write a well-developed and detailed 500-word essay on what improvements you would suggest for a better ESL program. Your environment is important and must be conducive to learning. It is necessary that you begin the first part of your essay with suggestions for a better environment, such as furniture, technological equipment, even decorating ideas, and anything else you feel would be necessary. 2. The second part of your essay(part of 500 words or more) should include qualities you would like to see in an ESL instructor. Please explain what qualities have helped you learn better and other qualities that have hindered your learning. 3. The third part of your essay should be a questionnaire composed of 20 or more questions. You must decide what questions you would like to ask your fellow classmates. These questions will help the future administrators and professors make the program the most successful it can be.
