MAFS.K.G.1.2 Correctly name shapes regardless of their orientations or overall size.	Level 5 Student correctly identifies all the shapes.	Level 4 Student correctly identifies only four of the shapes.	Level 3 Student correctly identifies only three of the shapes.	Level 2 Student correctly identifies only two of the shapes.	Level 1 Student fails to identify any of the shapes.
MAFS.K.G.2.6 Compose simple shapes to form larger shapes.	Level 5 Student can fully recognize that shapes can be combined to make new shapes and help out other students.	Level 4 Student can recognize that shapes can be combined to make new shapes with little to no assistants from the teacher.	Level 3 Student can recognize that shapes can be combined to make new shapes with the assistants from the teacher.	Level 2 Student still is learning the concept the shapes can be combined to make new shapes and help out other students.	Level 1 Even with assistance from the teacher student still fails to recognize that shapes can combined to make new shapes.

Level 4 Student has to be given instructions more than once.	Level 3 Student has to be given instructions more once and needs assistance.
